Beam Dynamics To Make IBC Debut

News Image
Beam Dynamics is set to make its IBC debut this September as the company continues its expansion with the launch of a new software licence management module.

The company, which provides a connected platform for broadcast, live production and professional AV organisations, will exhibit on stand 14.FT29 in Hall 14 at IBC2026.

Beam’s platform brings together asset, vendor, cost and operational data, helping organisations manage their technology estates through a single system. At the show, the company will introduce License Intelligence, a new module designed to manage software licences, support contracts and renewals.

The launch comes as broadcast and AV infrastructure becomes increasingly software-driven, leaving organisations responsible for a growing number of subscriptions, support agreements and product entitlements across multiple systems and sites.

Beam says information is often spread across vendor portals, spreadsheets, suppliers and internal departments, making it harder for organisations to track what each agreement covers, who is responsible for renewals and the potential cost of a lapse.

"Missed support contracts and renewal dates are one of the biggest sources of avoidable cost we hear about," said David Kaszycki, CEO and Co-Founder of Beam Dynamics. "Responsibility is split, information sits in different places and dates slip through the cracks. Even organizations that group renewals into one or two points in the year can still miss them, leaving them with gaps in coverage and back-coverage costs."

License Intelligence brings agreements into a single register, allowing users to track dates, costs, owners, suppliers and locations. The system can also provide advance alerts and link agreements directly to the assets and systems they support.

According to Beam, the approach gives organisations greater visibility of upcoming expenditure, enabling them to consolidate renewals across sites, compare costs and identify contracts requiring attention without having to recreate information each renewal cycle.

The module also tracks software versions, security patches and known vulnerabilities. By connecting this information to relevant assets, Beam says users can identify affected systems, determine where action is required and assess the wider operational risks associated with missed renewals or updates.

Alongside License Intelligence, Beam will showcase its existing Asset Intelligence platform, which supports the day-to-day management of technology for production organisations and system integrators.

The platform combines firmware, warranty, end-of-life and manufacturer information with location tracking, scheduling and ticketing. Users can track equipment across shows, sites and crews, while faults can be managed against individual assets and owners.

Beam said the combined approach gives engineering, operations, procurement and finance teams a shared view of their technology estates, helping them reduce unnecessary spending, plan maintenance and replacement programmes and make better use of existing equipment.

"What teams want is one view, clear ownership and enough notice to act while a renewal is still within budget," Kaszycki continued. "When Asset and License Intelligence sit together, they can prevent problems instead of paying for them afterwards. They can see what needs renewing, what can be consolidated, what should be replaced and where spending is being wasted. That equips them to be dynamic from day one and make better decisions for what comes next."

Visitors to IBC2026 will be able to see Beam’s Asset and License Intelligence Platform in action on stand 14.FT29 in Hall 14.
