STV Player Launches On LG TVs Across The UK

STV has teamed up with LG Electronics (LG) to bring its no-cost streaming platform, STV Player, to LG televisions nationwide.

The service, which hosts a broad line-up of live and on-demand content from around the world, is now available on LG TVs, projectors and monitors operating on webOS 25 and above.

The partnership with LG — a global leader in consumer electronics — meaningfully extends STV Player’s distribution. Through LG’s intuitive webOS interface, smart TV users will gain straightforward access to STV Player’s extensive catalogue.

In Scotland, STV Player serves as the streaming home of Channel 3 network content. Across the UK, it also features UK originals and international drama box sets, sport and factual programmes — much of which isn’t available to stream elsewhere.
