Studio Technologies Expands StudioComm Range With New Controllers

News Image
Studio Technologies has expanded its StudioComm product line with the introduction of the Model 794 Central Controller and Model 795 Control Console, with both set to be showcased at the NAB 2026.

The new system is designed for a range of professional audio monitoring applications, including post-production, ingest and on-air broadcast environments.

The Model 794 Central Controller is available in four versions—794-01, 794-02, 794-03 and 794-04—each differing in their input configurations. The base 794-01 model includes Dante audio-over-Ethernet alongside analogue inputs and outputs. The 794-02 version adds balanced AES3 digital audio inputs, while the 794-03 includes unbalanced AES3 inputs. The 794-04 expands analogue capability with additional inputs.

All versions are housed in a 1U rack-mounted unit and are designed to operate with the Model 795 Control Console, a desktop interface featuring pushbutton controls, a rotary encoder, LED indicators and a digital display. A built-in web-based menu system allows users to configure system settings, while audio processing is handled entirely in the digital domain using 32-bit programmable logic.

Across all configurations, the system supports multiple input types, including two 5.1-channel Dante inputs, two stereo Dante inputs, one 5.1 analogue input and two stereo analogue line inputs. Additional AES3 or analogue inputs are included depending on the selected model variant.

Studio Technologies said the new additions are intended to provide flexible, high-performance monitoring solutions for modern broadcast and production workflows.
