Studio Technologies Launches Model 762 Stereo Level Control For Dante Monitoring At IBC 2026

Studio Technologies, a manufacturer of professional audio, video and fibre-optic solutions, has introduced the StudioComm Model 762 Stereo Level Control, a compact, self-contained monitor controller optimised for Dante audio-over-Ethernet workflows. Aimed at recording, broadcast, post-production and wider pro audio applications, the tabletop unit will be showcased at IBC 2026 on the Nixer Audio stand (8.F96).

The Model 762 allows monitoring of two stereo (2-channel) sources via one or two Dante-connected loudspeaker systems while maintaining an end-to-end digital signal path. A dedicated configuration supports creation of a headphone cue feed by attaching a headphone amplifier to the second stereo output.

Built on Dante, the device also offers AES67 interoperability and full compatibility with Dante Domain Manager (DDM), easing integration into contemporary media and enterprise networks. It provides two stereo Dante inputs and two stereo Dante outputs, enabling straightforward connectivity to broadcast routers, matrix intercoms, video edit systems, amplifiers and powered monitors. The Model 762 is entirely digital with no analogue I/O, preserving signal integrity through the monitoring chain and supporting efficient configuration, monitoring and control.

Deployment is simplified by single-cable Power over Ethernet (PoE) operation to the IEEE 802.3af standard, with the unit identifying as a class 2 low-power device. Operation is designed to be immediate and clear, with two pushbuttons, a rotary encoder, LED indicators and a digital display for at-a-glance visibility of output level, system state and Dante network details.

Internally, the unit supports four Dante receiver (input) channels and four Dante transmitter (output) channels. Audio processing utilises a 32-bit architecture at 48 kHz with bit depths up to 32-bit.

Housed in a rugged steel chassis designed for desktop use, the Model 762 suits space-limited rooms where professional-grade monitoring is essential. LEDs and an integrated graphics display deliver clear operational feedback.

Configuration is managed via Studio Technologies' free STcontroller application for Windows and macOS, which enables selection of input sources, adjustment of output dim value, and control of stereo pair output behaviour.
