IBC debut for multi format digital and analogue audio router from Deltron Emcon

Deltron Emcon has announced the IBC launch of a highly innovative new audio routing switcher which “sets new standards for flexibility and versatility on audio switching”.
The eMediamax AAR32 is a multi format audio router that allows users to simultaneously switch analogue and digital audio in the same routing matrix, adding flexibility and reducing costs. This new product addresses the transition from analogue to AES digital audio signal formats by providing both format inputs and outputs. This innovative design alleviates the problem of traditional single format routers and also allows users to perform A:D and D:A conversion since any input can be routed to any output. Thus, for example, a stereo analogue input signal can be routed and output in AES format. Furthermore, the advantages of this approach means that signals can also be distributed in dual formats, negating the need for 'external' DAs and converters.
The eMediamax AAR32 addresses the need for more integrated functionally, saving users time, simplifying systems and reducing capital expense due to its low price, typically 35 percent less than similar products.
