Net Insight Unveils Nimbra Live Intelligence At NAB 2026

Net Insight has introduced Nimbra Live Intelligence at the NAB Show 2026, presenting what it describes as a new category in live media operations with the launch of an Open Media Platform designed to support live production, distribution and protection workflows.

The platform, called Nimbra Live Intelligence, is structured as a single system built across three layers and deployed through Nimbra Live Performance. According to the company, the system is intended to help broadcasters, content owners and service providers operate live media environments as predictable systems without requiring proprietary infrastructure or major replacement of existing technology stacks.

Live media delivery has become increasingly complex as workflows expand across venues, studios, public internet connections, cloud platforms, service providers and partners. At the same time, audience expectations for flawless live broadcasts and the growing value of media rights have increased the pressure on operators to maintain reliability.

Net Insight said Nimbra Live Intelligence addresses these challenges by focusing on system-level performance rather than individual technologies. The platform is designed to provide visibility and operational control across networks, cloud environments and multiple organisations, even during high-demand events or technical disruptions.

"For years, the industry has tried to solve live media challenges by optimizing individual components," said Andreas Eriksson, CEO of Net Insight. "But live media doesn't fail because one device breaks. It fails when systems lose predictable behavior under pressure. With Nimbra Live Intelligence, we address live media as a system-level challenge, not a product problem, enabling visible and controlled operations across networks, clouds, and organizations — even under extreme conditions and delivering operational confidence at scale."

In live sports and other mission-critical broadcast workflows, operators often face peak demand during major events, network congestion or unexpected failures. Net Insight says the platform is designed to manage media behaviour across managed networks, public internet infrastructure and cloud environments to protect service-level agreements, revenue streams and brand reputation.

"What matters to us is knowing how the entire live service will behave, not just whether individual devices are running," said Andreas Langell, CEO of Mobilelinks. "With Nimbra Live Intelligence built on an Open Media Platform approach, we gain real-time visibility and control across networks, cloud, and partners."

The platform is designed to support a wide range of workflows including contribution, remote production, distribution, studio interconnect and content protection. Net Insight says its system-based approach aims to reduce operational complexity, allowing organisations to scale operations more easily while minimising manual processes and infrastructure over-provisioning.

The company added that Nimbra Live Intelligence is built to support vendor-agnostic collaboration across multiple networks and organisations, enabling secure operations across distributed live media environments while maintaining operational predictability.
