AIMS Extends Call for Proposals for NAB 2026 IP Showcase

The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), alongside partners AMWA and VSF, has announced an extension for the IP Showcase Call for Proposals ahead of the 2026 NAB Show. Returning to the Tech Chat Theater in the West Hall, the IP Showcase remains a premier destination for technical papers, demonstrations, and real-world case studies detailing the industry's shift toward all-IP ecosystems. This year’s focus highlights the significant progress made in converging AV-over-IP with broadcast standards, inviting end users and solutions providers to share insights on how the adoption of IPMX and related technologies is transforming modern media organizations.
Proposals are now due March 17, 2026, and can be submitted here.
Appropriate paper topics include:
• Overviews of SMPTE ST 2110, IPMX, AES67, AMWA-NMOS, or TR-1001
• IPMX IP for non-engineers: What do operations, resellers, management need to know?
• IP Scorecard: How are we doing? Where are the gaps?
• Making the business case for IP standards development
• Updates from an industry body such as SMPTE, AMWA, VSF, OPA, etc
• How IP-focused standards work is addressing real-world problems such as security across the WAN, ground-cloud operations, and remote production
• End-user case studies on deployments of all sizes, as well as post-deployment considerations
• QC, monitoring, and maintenance in IP-based environments
• Dynamic Media Facilities (DMF)
