Cobalt Digital Backs IPMX At ISE 2026

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026 opens in Barcelona in three weeks, running from 3–6 February at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via. Embracing this year's theme, 'Push Beyond', Cobalt Digital is signalling its commitment to open standards with a clear message: IPMX is here to stay.

On Stand/Booth #4J900, Cobalt will highlight a broad range of IPMX-enabled products, led by the COBALT ARIA AUD-MON – the industry’s only IPMX-compliant audio monitor. Also on show are SAPPHIRE BBG-2110 mini converters, INDIGO gateways, PACIFIC encoders/decoders, TOPAZ processors, and the UltraBlue MV-SW multiviewer platforms.

In a recent TVB Europe trends article, Suzana Brady, SVP Worldwide Sales and Marketing, said: "One major trend in 2025 was IPMX, which brings SMPTE 2110 to the pro-AV and to the corporate communications world, and makes it plug-and-play. The pro-AV world is currently fragmented into multiple proprietary and closed solutions. Users are forced to choose a vendor and to live with the limitations of that choice. IPMX, on the other hand, is essentially ST 2110 without the complexity. It is a completely open specification, which allows the user to mix and match equipment from different vendors and choose what is best for their applications. IPMX is starting to grow and will become a major player in this arena in the next 3 to 5 years."

Attendees can also explore demonstrations from Cobalt's wider portfolio, focused on interoperability, ease of use, and scalability for the pro-AV market.

ISE continues to expand rapidly. The organisers report last year's edition featured 1,605 exhibitors and welcomed 85,351 unique verified visitors from 168 countries, a 15% increase on 2024.
