Calrec's IP Ecosystem Wins Best Of Show At ISE 2026

Calrec has won Installation Magazine's Best of Show award at ISE 2026 for its IP Ecosystem Powered by True Control 2.0 – Orchestrating Distributed IP Production, recognising the company's advances in distributed, hybrid and remote audio workflows.

The Best of Show programme highlights the most innovative pro AV products and solutions at ISE. Judged by industry experts and editorial teams, entries are assessed on feature set, ease of use, innovation and overall uniqueness in the market.

Calrec's IP Ecosystem, driven by True Control 2.0, was acknowledged for enabling modern broadcast and AV operations to scale efficiently. Designed for broadcasters, sports organisations, houses of worship and education, it helps users minimise costs, scale resources on demand and adopt fully distributed IP production environments.

True Control 2.0 allows any Calrec system to be operated from any location, giving access to additional cores, faders and surfaces as required, with full control of EQ, dynamics, routing, direct outputs and delay. A single controller can simultaneously manage up to five other consoles or processing cores, expanding capability without additional hardware.

As hybrid and remote workflows become standard, the ecosystem blends on-premise infrastructure with remote operations and virtual cloud resources. Audio and video are decoupled from hardware, enabling thousands of audio channels to be orchestrated across distributed DSP. This includes integration with ImPulseV, Calrec's virtualised audio mixing engine, which uses the familiar Calrec interface and can be controlled from Argo consoles, True Control 2.0 or via the Assist web UI.

At ISE 2026, Calrec demonstrated a live IP Ecosystem powered by True Control 2.0, integrating Argo consoles with ImPulse1 IP processing cores and the ImPulseV virtualised engine to showcase a flexible, future-ready approach to IP production.

Sid Stanley, Managing Director at Calrec, said: "Winning the Best of Show Award at ISE 2026 is a fantastic recognition of our vision for distributed IP production. It reinforces our commitment to helping customers simplify workflows, reduce costs and scale production without compromise. True Control 2.0 and Calrec's IP Ecosystem are designed to give broadcasters the flexibility, scalability and confidence they need to succeed in today's hybrid and remote production environments."
