IntoPIX Marks 20 Years With Zero‑Latency IP Streaming Showcase

intoPIX is using NAB Show 2026 to demonstrate how professional video workflows can move beyond uncompressed delivery without sacrificing quality, unveiling zero‑latency IP video streaming built on JPEG XS alongside IPMX‑approved and SMPTE 2110‑compatible solutions for LAN, WAN and cloud.

Marking its 20th anniversary in 2026, the company is targeting developers, OEMs, broadcasters and ProAV users seeking to cut bandwidth, infrastructure costs and power consumption while retaining deterministic performance for live and mission‑critical operations. By substituting uncompressed feeds with ultra‑lightweight JPEG XS, intoPIX says it achieves visually lossless results at a fraction of the data rate, with latencies in microseconds.

At the heart of the line‑up is an IPMX‑approved and SMPTE 2110‑compatible platform spanning hardware and software. The Titanium EDK supplies IP cores and reference designs for SoC‑based products, including FPGA SoCs, to help OEMs and camera makers build interoperable IP video devices with integrated NMOS control, precise timing and predictable performance.

For software‑centric and IT‑based deployments, the Titanium SDK and Titanium software suite bring SMPTE 2110 and IPMX to commercial off‑the‑shelf edge computers and servers. These tools enable professional IP ingest, processing and playout without specialised hardware, broadening options for live, remote and IP‑first production.

JPEG XS remains the cornerstone of the intoPIX IP ecosystem. Delivered as FPGA IP cores, SDKs and plug‑ins, it scales from HD to 4K and 8K, supporting real‑time video over IP while trimming bandwidth and energy usage. For image sensor pipelines, TicoRAW provides efficient RAW compression for cameras and edge devices aligned with modern IP‑based architectures.

A centrepiece of the booth is the ongoing 'JPEG XS in Action' campaign. With more than 250 productions deployed by over 50 manufacturers, intoPIX will highlight its 50+ global partner network and show how zero‑latency JPEG XS workflows can simplify infrastructure, boost interoperability and future‑proof systems from edge to cloud.

"NAB Show 2026 is a very special moment for intoPIX," said Jean‑Baptiste Lorent, Head of Marketing at intoPIX. "As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we are bringing the ecosystem together at our booth to mark two decades of innovation, while sharing concrete insights through the NAB conference talks on JPEG XS and IPMX. From its early development to its broad adoption today, JPEG XS has evolved into a proven, interoperable foundation for zero‑latency IP video, and NAB is the perfect place to showcase how far the industry has come."
