OSN Extends Its Linear Satellite Service Using TVkey Cloud 

OSN has launched a direct-to-TV version of its OSNtv pay-TV service on Samsung connected TVs across the Middle East and North Africa, using TVkey Cloud from NAGRAVISION and Samsung. Announced on 5 February 2026, the roll-out is described as the first service of its kind in the region, providing access in more than 20 countries without the need for a set-top box. Sofia Digital built the smart TV experience to the HbbTV operator application standard.

The OSNtv service enabled by TVkey Cloud works with all Samsung Ultra HD connected TV models produced since 2021. Co-developed by NAGRAVISION and Samsung, TVkey Cloud embeds security directly into the TV chipset to protect premium content and complies with MovieLabs' Enhanced Content Protection requirements for 4K Ultra HD, HDR and early-release titles. Its immersive interface is designed to make OSNtv the primary live TV source on the device, rather than just another app.
