TVC Technology Solutions Completes Immersive AV Installation

TVC Technology Solutions has completed a full audiovisual installation at The Mousetrap Social, the latest flagship venue from leading UK pub operator Amber Taverns, showcasing how advanced AV technology can enhance customer engagement, atmosphere and operational efficiency in hospitality environments.

Following a series of successful projects with Amber Taverns at King Street Social Tap in Huddersfield and the Iron Ram in Derby, TVC was appointed to deliver a comprehensive AV solution for the new Nottingham venue. The brief centred on creating a fully immersive environment featuring a bespoke indoor LED display, premium 4K hospitality screens, a high-performance multi-zone audio system and centralised control, providing flexibility for live sport, events and branded content.

A focal point of the installation is a 3m x 1.5m 2.6px indoor LED display positioned in the main bar area. Designed to deliver ultra-bright, high-resolution visuals, the display provides cinema-style clarity for live sport, promotional material and branded entertainment. Its flexible configuration allows staff to switch seamlessly between live broadcasts, digital signage and music-driven visuals, while its durable, low-maintenance construction ensures long-term performance.

Supporting the LED display, TVC installed a range of Samsung 4K hospitality screens from 55in to 98in across the main bar, rear seating and mezzanine areas. The commercial-grade displays offer consistent picture quality during extended operating hours and are connected via an HD matrix system, enabling instant content switching across individual screens or zones. This approach allows content to be tailored to different areas while maintaining a cohesive visual experience throughout the venue.

For audio, TVC delivered a venue-wide solution using a professional-grade Audac sound system, incorporating V108, V106 and X6 loudspeakers, supported by a 15in subwoofer and DSP amplification. Integrated with an Optimal Audio zone control system, the installation enables independent control of volume, audio sources and tonal profiles across multiple areas, ensuring the right ambience for daytime trading, peak periods, quizzes and private events.

All Samsung displays were installed using Peerless commercial wall brackets, providing secure, level and cable-managed mounting while maintaining the venue’s modern interior design. The use of commercial-grade mounting solutions also supports ease of maintenance and long-term reliability of the AV infrastructure.
