ENCO To Showcase enTranslate Mobile At ISE 2026
ENCO will bring its award-winning enTranslate Mobile solution to the global AV stage next month, giving visitors to ISE 2026 the opportunity to see the in-venue translation technology in action.
Making its international debut at the show, enTranslate Mobile is designed to caption, subtitle and translate presentations, panel discussions and other live content into the primary languages of audience members in the room.
The solution supports bring-your-own-device (BYOD) accessibility and multilingual inclusivity across a wide range of AV environments, enabling audiences to access translated captions directly on their personal smartphones or tablets. By delivering translations to individual devices, enTranslate Mobile reduces or eliminates the need for large display screens traditionally used to show translated captions within venues.
Audience members gain access to live multilingual captions through QR codes displayed throughout the venue. After scanning a QR code or entering a URL, users are directed to a mobile-friendly website where captions appear instantly. ENCO’s enTranslate Language Selector allows users to choose their preferred language and provides immediate access to the live text stream. Users can also scroll back to review earlier content in their selected language. Visitors to the ENCO stand (EA780) at ISE 2026 will be able to scan QR codes on site to experience enTranslate Mobile firsthand.
The platform is designed to simplify the user experience by eliminating the need to download or install an app, instead using a responsive web interface optimized for smartphone browsers. For customers with heightened security requirements, enTranslate Mobile can be deployed on-premises without internet access, making it suitable for corporate facilities, universities, convention centres and other sensitive environments. Cloud and hybrid deployment options are also available.
"In-room captioning is very often a requirement for the live event experience, though the costs and complexity of providing multiple translations have typically limited the scope of what businesses and event organisers can reasonably offer," Ken Frommert, President, ENCO. "enTranslate Mobile provides a solution to reduce integration costs for temporary events by offering a technology that is quick to deploy, requires minimal infrastructure, and provides instant access to accurate translations in the languages that each attendee best understands."
ISE 2026 takes place from February 3 to 6 at the Fira de Barcelona in Spain.
