MPTS, the UK's largest event for the media, production and technology sectors, has opened registration for its 10th anniversary edition, MPTS 2026, which will return to The Grand Hall at Olympia London on 13–14 May 2026.

The milestone show will be the largest in the event's history, featuring an expanded exhibition floor, a broad free seminar programme and a series of new features designed to mark a decade of growth and innovation across broadcast, production, post-production and media technology.

More than 300 exhibitors are expected to take part in MPTS 2026, showcasing emerging workflows and hands-on technologies. Returning brands include Appear, EditShare, EVS, Imagine Communications, LucidLink, Sony, Videndum and Zixi, alongside new exhibitors such as Grass Valley, Philips and RedBee Media.

Matthew Williams-Neale, Vice President, Marketing & Communications at Appear, said: "MPTS continues to be an important event for Appear, bringing together the broadcast and media technology community in a way that encourages meaningful conversations. We had a very positive experience at last year's show and are excited to see how MPTS 2026 builds on that momentum, particularly as the industry navigates rapid technological change and new opportunities."

Red Bee Media has been named an official partner for the 2026 event and will sponsor a new networking space, the MPTS Pub Garden sponsored by Red Bee Media, located in the expanded upstairs area of the Grand Hall.

Emily Pryor, Marketing Director at Red Bee Media, said: "MPTS is an important event for Red Bee, it brings together the people, ideas and technologies that are shaping the future of media and broadcast, and it’s always a valuable forum for meaningful industry conversations. We are excited to return with fresh perspectives, new innovations, and continued collaboration with partners across the sector."

Among the major new features for 2026 is the debut of the Creator Hub, developed in partnership with InterTalent, which will include a Creator Stage and Creator Lounge focused on short-form video, influencer marketing, platform innovation and creator-led brand collaborations.

The Post Production World Conference Europe will also make its European debut at the show in partnership with Future Media Conferences, offering paid-for workshops covering AI, post-production, motion graphics, VFX, content creation and creative business development. Maxon has been confirmed as the first sponsor.

The SMPTE Media Technology Conference Europe will expand into a larger ground floor space to accommodate more senior technical leaders and innovators, while a new live podcast studio will offer visitors a behind-the-scenes look at podcast production.

Networking and wellbeing facilities will also grow, with additional collaboration areas, work-from-anywhere spaces and the introduction of the MPTS Pub Garden sponsored by Red Bee Media. The show will again work with EventWell to provide a SensoryCalm™ safe space for visitors needing support with sensory overload.

Deborah Cross, Director of Operations at Rise, said: "MPTS 2025 was a truly inspiring experience for me, proving itself to be one of the most diverse events in our industry and demonstrating a genuine commitment to inclusive representation across both its audiences and its speaker programmes - with 37% of speakers female, and 24% of attendance being female last year.. Their collaborative, values-led approach is what makes MPTS such a powerful and positive force for change - it is the benchmark of how progressive and innovative industry events should be run."

Charlotte Wheeler, Director of MPTS, added: "As we open registration for our tenth anniversary edition, we are incredibly proud of how MPTS continues to evolve alongside the industry. MPTS 2026 will see some of our most ambitious developments yet, from new stages and live experiences to expanded networking and wellbeing spaces. At its core, MPTS remains about bringing the community together, creating an environment that inspires creativity, collaboration and meaningful connection across media production and technology."
