NAB Show New York 2026 Unites 250 Media Tech Firms

NAB Show New York 2026, taking place 21–22 October at the Javits Center, will spotlight how production, streaming, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure and business strategy are converging across the media landscape.

Around 250 participating companies are confirmed for the East Coast marketplace for media innovation, with at least 37 first-time exhibitors and roughly 23% of participants coming from outside the United States. The exhibitor mix spans solutions for broadcasters, streamers, sports producers, creators and enterprise studios.

Beyond the show floor, the event offers about 64 hours of educational programme content examining the commercial and technological shifts in media — from investment and consolidation to creator-led models, sports media economics and practical AI deployment. Theatre sponsors include CNN Newsource, Electric Sheep, Katapy, MM Digital Collective (Modern Mirror) and Shure.

"The show floor is a real-time look at where media organizations are investing and where technology is heading," said Karen Chupka, executive vice president, Global Connections and Events at NAB. "The lines between production, IT, streaming, cloud and AI continue to blur. NAB Show New York gives buyers an opportunity to put those pieces together, compare solutions side by side and talk directly with the companies building what comes next."

Production remains the largest technology category, accounting for approximately 42% of participating companies. Around 33% provide infrastructure, IT networking or security, while roughly a quarter list asset management, automation and playout — with a similar share citing media supply chain automation and management. Overlapping categories reflect how production is increasingly inseparable from adjacent technologies and infrastructure.

Major exhibitors include Sony Electronics, B&H, Blackmagic Design, Canon U.S.A., EVS, Evertz, Grass Valley, Ross Video, Riedel Communications, Lawo, ENCO and Facilis Technology, spanning cameras, live production, comms, storage, workflow and broadcast infrastructure.

For corporate enterprise and brand studios, Dell Technologies and Sennheiser bring infrastructure and professional audio to a floor that bridges creative and technical needs. Content creators can explore lighting and audio from Aputure Deity amaran and tools from Maxon, alongside wider production and post-production technologies.

Radio and TV broadcasters will see transmission, automation, monitoring and integrated workflow suppliers including Dalet, GatesAir, Telos Alliance, WideOrbit, RCS, Cobalt Digital, Wheatstone, Rohde & Schwarz, Broadcast Electronics and Heartland Video Systems. Collectively, offerings point to more flexible, software-driven and interconnected workflows aimed at scaling content across platforms while improving efficiency.

Streaming is now embedded within core media workflows. At least 66 companies are linked to streaming technologies, 51 to cloud computing and storage, and 42 to remote production — capabilities that increasingly interlock to support creation, management and distribution across more endpoints. Show programming similarly addresses evolving audience expectations, monetisation and the maturation of streaming products. Companies active in this space include Amazon Web Services, Ateme, Haivision, MediaKind and Telestream.

Live sport and events remain a nexus for production, replay, graphics, communications and distribution technologies. Exhibitors such as Fujifilm, Chyron, RTS Intercom Systems and Comrex join EVS, Grass Valley, Riedel Communications, Ross Video, Sony Electronics and Lawo with solutions for live and sports coverage.

Artificial intelligence is moving into real-world workflows, with at least 33 participating companies citing AI and machine learning among their categories. Applications span content discovery, production, analytics, transcription, automation and workflow management.

NAB Show New York is a destination for decision-makers: buyers are expected to make up 80% of attendees, including more than 3,300 executive buyers. Audience data indicates 35% have final purchasing authority, 26% specify suppliers and 48% recommend purchases. Corporate and brand studios form the largest buyer segment at 29%, followed by film and television professionals (18%), content creators and storytellers (17%) and broadcasters (15%). With 64% of buyers anticipated to be first-time attendees, exhibitors can reach new customers and forge fresh relationships.
