Hitomi Unveils MatchBox Panorama's UK Debut At MPTS 2026

Positioned to give engineers a single, consolidated view of timing across complex production chains, MatchBox Panorama aggregates latency and lip sync data from multiple locations into one interface. The aim is to speed up alignment, pinpoint the sources of delay and minimise lip sync errors that undermine the viewing experience.

Timing measurements use MatchBox's proprietary audio and video test pattern, created with the MatchBox Generator or captured via the MatchBox Glass iPhone app, enabling flexible deployment on site or in the field. Panorama adds the ability to place data probes anywhere in the signal chain, helping engineers identify precisely where latency is introduced and streamlining optimisation.

For multi-site operations, MatchBox Panorama is available with global site licences and is delivered as a lightweight cluster of Docker containers for efficient rollout across diverse environments.

Although it operates as a standalone software solution, Panorama is designed to integrate with wider production ecosystems. It has already been successfully tested within the Grass Valley AMPP environment, with additional partnerships to follow.
