Cobalt ARIA AUD-MON Named Best Of Show At ISE 2026

Cobalt Digital, a designer and manufacturer of ST 2110 and SDI signal-processing solutions and a founding partner in the openGear initiative, announced that its COBALT ARIA AUD-MON audio monitor has been named a Best of Show winner in the AVTechnology category at ISE 2026.

The Best of Show Awards recognise standout new professional AV products and solutions exhibited at ISE. Assessed by industry specialists and editorial teams against criteria such as feature set, ease of use, innovation and market differentiation, the ARIA AUD-MON — billed as the industry's only IPMX-compliant audio monitor — met the judges' standards.

Designed for Pro AV environments transitioning to IP workflows, AUD-MON delivers best-in-class audio monitoring with metering for 16 SDI or 64 MADI channels in a compact rack-mount chassis. Audio is driven by an efficient Class-D amplifier with DSP and carefully selected speaker components. An intuitive, customisable touch display on the front panel enables straightforward operation, available either with eight individual volume controls for mixing or a single master control for simplicity, with remote control also available via a web interface. The unit can be supplied with external redundant power supplies and accommodates a wide range of inputs, including 2x SDI up to 12G or MADI, 2x SFP for SDI over fibre, AES, balanced analogue audio, and GPI for automation. Additional conveniences include a live video thumbnail and an SDI output for confidence monitoring.

The AUD-MON series has been expanded to support ST 2110-20 video input and 64 audio channels, with channel mapping that lets users select any 16 from 64-channel ST 2110-30 sources. It also allows SMPTE ST 2110 input media streams to be re-transmitted on the 12G-SDI output.
