Cobalt Digital To Unveil Largest IPMX Line-Up

News Image
Cobalt Digital will showcase its most extensive portfolio to date at NAB Show 2026, presenting a full end-to-end IPMX and ST 2110 ecosystem designed to support broadcasters through the transition to IP.

The company will exhibit at Booth N1340.

The showing follows Cobalt's recent IPMX certification announcement, confirmed by AIMS in partnership with AMWA and the EBU. At an IPMX Product Testing and Certification Event in Geneva in January, 48 products across the industry were certified to the IPMX standard. These include all 15 of Cobalt’s IPMX‑compliant solutions spanning TOPAZ Processors, PACIFIC Encoders and Decoders, SAPPHIRE Converters, ARIA Audio Monitors, INDIGO ST 2110 and the UltraBlue Multiviewer families. The certified products were unveiled during a reception at ISE 2026, marking a milestone for IPMX adoption across Pro AV and broadcast.

Cobalt’s IPMX momentum was further underscored at ISE 2026, where the ARIA Audio Monitor Series received an AV Technology ‘Best of Show Award’. Suzana Brady, SVP of Worldwide Sales & Marketing, and Ryan Wallenberg, VP of Engineering, accepted the award on behalf of the team.

The company plans to continue the IPMX discussion at the NAB Show and is inviting attendees to schedule booth appointments. It also points readers to the SVG Europe piece, Problem solver: Cobalt Digital on why it’s time for IPMX to shine.

Among the NAB highlights, Cobalt will debut blueCORE, a new 1RU standalone signal processor family.

PACIFIC compression updates include a new ST 2110/IPMX output option for the PACIFIC ULL‑DEC upgradeable software‑defined broadcast decoder, enabling decoded content to be made available simultaneously over SDI and over ST 2110/IPMX. Additional DVB‑S/S2 demodulator options allow decoding and pass‑through of satellite signals on ASI and over IP.

New openGear® cards comprise the cost‑effective, flexible 9925‑FSx Frame Sync and 9981‑LUTx Colour Processor, both featuring licence‑based expansion for scalable workflows.

ARIA Audio Monitor — billed as the industry’s only fully IPMX‑compliant audio monitor — offers 16 SDI or 64 MADI metering channels, a Class‑D amplifier with DSP and specially selected speaker components, plus an intuitive touch display for IP‑ready environments. Other ARIA models on show include the 9935‑AUD4‑DANTE, a quad‑channel unit with up to 12G DANTE/AES/MADI/Embed and De‑Embed functions and Frame Sync capabilities.

UltraBlue MV‑SW Multiviewers now add IPMX support and are available either as a turnkey solution with four HDMI heads or as software for customer‑supplied dedicated hardware. UltraBlue can receive compressed and baseband audio/video over IP across multiple protocols and formats with highly flexible audio routing, and now features IPMX support for transitioning to either ST 2110 or IPMX workflows. The multiviewer also supports SDI inputs and outputs.

SAPPHIRE Mini Converters and INDIGO Gateways provide IPMX/ST 2110‑capable tools for bridging SDI and IP infrastructures, aimed at operations already in IP as well as those planning migration without compromising flexibility, quality or budget.
