Mono Streaming Selects PlayBox Neo Channel-in-a-Box

Mono Streaming Co. Ltd. has chosen PlayBox Neo’s Channel-in-a-Box HD servers to support its English Premier League programming on the OTT platform 'Monomax', as the broadcaster prepares for major fixtures and an expanded slate of premium sports content aimed at strengthening its market position.

The company, part of Thailand's media and entertainment group Mono Next Public Company Limited (MONO), operates across IPTV, free-to-air and cable services, including the Monomax streaming platform and digital TV channel MONO29, alongside additional business interests in publishing, music and mobile content.

Monomax has surpassed one million subscribers on its Standard Package, driven by growing demand for Premier League football, reinforcing its strategy to establish itself as Thailand’s "go-to platform for sports enthusiasts".

Working with PlayBox Neo's Thai dealer Central Solutions Co. Ltd, the upgrade project supplied Mono Streaming with four new Channel-in-a-Box HD servers and ingest configuration to replace legacy playout and recording systems. Each server supports three channels including 1080p capability for ad-streaming requirements. Installation and operational and technical training were delivered onsite.

PlayBox Neo's Channel-in-a-Box package provides a fully integrated playout system for OTT streaming, combining AirBox Neo automation with UHD optimisation, scheduling via ListBox Neo, graphics and CG through TitleBox Neo, ingest tools and Media Gateway for live delivery. The platform supports multi-resolution playout in 4K, HD and SD.
