RTE announce senior management appointments

Following a recent recruitment drive RTÉ have announced a number of senior management appointments.
Joining Group Finance are:
Group Treasurer, Jean Sheridan, ACA. A native of Churchtown, Dublin, Jean has previously worked with Ernst & Young, Chartered Accountants (Dublin) and RTÉ; most recently held the position of RTÉ Group Accounting Manager.
Group Financial Controller, Donnchadh Ó Madagain, B.A. Accounting & Finance (DCU), MIB, (Grad), FCCA. A native of Dun Laoghaire, Co.Dublin, Donnchadh has previously worked with AIB and most recently held the position of Group Financial Controller with Adare Printing Group.
Recruited in the Business Divisions are:
Finance Director - RTE Television IBD, Breda O’Keeffe, FCA. A native of Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny. Breda has previously worked with Ernst & Young, Chartered Accountants (Waterford), Guinness Peat Aviation, GE Capital Aviation Services, JetPhone, GE Insurance Services, and most recently held the position of Financial Director with Halifax Insurance Services Ireland (HBOS).
Finance Director – RTE News IBD, Paul Doyle, BComm (UCD), FCA. A native of Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Paul has previously worked with PwC, Chartered Accountants (Dublin), Great Southern Hotels, Bord Na Mona and RTE; most recently he held the position of Business Manager RTÉ Televison Output.
Finance Director – RTE Radio IBD: Kieran Barry, BComm. (UCC), ACMA. A native of Ringaskiddy, Co.Cork, Kieran has previously worked with Sunbeam, Macdonald Publishers, First Leisure Corporation, BBC Worldwide, Maplegold Consultants and RTÉ; most recently held the position of Business Manager RTÉ Radio Output.
Financial Controller – RTÉ Network IBD, Padraic Leahy, Dip.IT. FCA. A native of Beaumont, Dublin Padraic has previously worked with D.J.Byrne & Co.,Chartered Accountants, Deloitte & Touche, Chartered Accountants (Birmingham), KPMG, Chartered Accountants (Zambia), Lonhro, Gateaux, Today FM, and he most recently held the position of Finance Director with Gurubooks.
Financial Controller – RTÉ Performing Groups IBD, Brian O’Dwyer, B.Comm, MSc Operations Management (DCU), ACMA. A native of Cork, Brian has previously worked with Sun Life Trust Management, Bank National De Paris, BASF, Motorola BV, Bausch & Lamb (Ireland) and RTÉ. He most recently held the position of Business Manager RTÉ Digital Media & Regions.
