ITC's Strategy, Economics & Finance Group expands

Two new senior appointments to the ITC's Strategy, Economics and Finance (SEF) Group have been announced, completing the rebuilding and strengthening of the Group's economic and strategic functions.
Jim Egan joins the ITC as Head of Strategy and Economics, taking the lead responsibility for strategic and market analysis and deputising for the Group's Director, Robin Foster. Egan previously worked at BSkyB where he was Business Development Manager responsible for interactive TV and related developments. Prior to this he was a principal consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers working in the areas of strategic and economic consulting.
Jonathan Porter joins the ITC as Head of Economic Regulation and Competition. Porter is currently economic adviser at NTL, responsible for regulatory issues and previously worked at Oftel, the Office of Fair Trading, and the Treasury.
Robin Foster, the ITC's Director of Strategy, Economics and Finance said: "These appointments bring a wider perspective to the ITC, across both digital TV and broadband, and equip the ITC for the challenges which lie ahead in 2002.”
