The Horror Channel to feature in BSkyB’s FTA package

The Horror Channel is heading up BSkyB’s movie offering as the principal movie channel in the broadcaster’s free digital platform, announced yesterday.
The popular channel’s bloodthirsty mix of horror classics and UK premieres attracted more than 3.45 million viewers in the 16 days from its launch at the beginning of May.
“As more people switch on to horror, this is great news for us and great news for viewers,” said The Horror Channel’s MD Tony Hazell. “Sky’s digital platform provides high quality programming for viewers everywhere and delivering The Horror Channel for free means everyone has access to the greatest horror movies in the world.”
