Chyron provides TVE with cutting edge graphics for 24/7 digital news channel

Chyron Corporation has announced that Spain's public service broadcaster Televisión Española (TVE) has installed four Chyron Duet LEX Character Generators (CGs) running Chyron's award-winning Lyric compositing software with MOS interface for its digital news centre.
The installation was carried out by Chyron's Spanish partner Clearcom S.L.
TVE, part of the Radio Televisión Española Group, is using two of the Chyron Duet LEXs for its 24/7 Digital News Channel, TVE Canal 24 Horas at TVE News Center in Madrid and two in its Graphics department also based at TVE News Center.
This announcement follows TVE's installation of three Chyron Duet LEXs at its Regional Production Centre in Barcelona last year and a recent order for an additional two Duet LEXs for the same centre.
The Chyron Duet LEXs interface with TVE's existing, Duet LEXs and the Chyron MOS newsroom computer system, which will provide TVE journalists with remote asset browsing, editing and playout capabilities within Avid iNews. Using Lyric, Chyron's powerful graphics animation software, which offers real-time 2D and 3D animation capability with extensive support for templates, TVE graphic artists can create the framework for other non-graphic skilled operators to populate with data, ideal for live news situations.
