The Media Production & Technology Show 2020 (MPTS) continues to add more exciting features for this year's show, partnering with leading organisations from across the media sector to deliver inspirational and educational content.

MPTS is pleased to welcome its new partners SMPTE, DPP and Mojofest to the event, which takes place on 13-14 May 2020 at Olympia, London.

SMPTE has more than 7,000 members around the world, including motion-imaging executives, creatives, technologists, researchers, and students who volunteer their time and expertise to the Society’s standards development and educational initiatives. At MPTS 2020, SMPTE will curate a number of sessions for the new Technology Theatre.

Barbara Lange, Executive Director, SMPTE, said: "As the UK's leading media production event, the Media Production & Technology Show 2020 will bring professionals in TV, film and the creative sector an exceptional program of presentations and exhibits, with a newly robust focus on technology. As an MPTS partner, SMPTE will curate a series of presentations by experts and executives on how current and emerging technologies are shaping the future of media production and post."

The DPP is also partnering with MPTS for the first time, hosting its own DPP theatre and speaker programme. Mark Harrison, Managing Director, DPP, said: "MPTS attracts an incredible range of companies and visitors; put them
together with the expertise the DPP can draw upon from its 400+ member companies, and we have an opportunity to generate some fantastic discussion and debate around the key topics in the media industry."

Mojofest, the world's longest running professional smartphone content creators festival, will be co-located at MPTS, with its own dedicated stage and exhibition area. Over the past five years Mojofest has hosted over 180 speakers, 50+ exhibitors and 2000+ delegates, covering topics including mobile journalism, filmmaking, photography, 360° video, drones, livestreaming, influencer marketing, vlogging, social media strategies and more.

Glen Mulcahy, Founder, Mojofest, said: "Our speakers and panel sessions draw on international pioneers who have pushed the boundaries on professional smartphone content. Our exhibitors are the enablers, app developers and accessory manufacturers who have created the ecosystem to make mobile journalism possible. To empower our audience we host workshops with some of the best minds in the industry. This partnership with MPTS will open more doors for our existing audience, while shining a light for MPTS' visitors on new and exciting opportunities surrounding smartphone content."
