Sony will return to IBC 2018 to present its latest solutions that help customers build their brands and audiences under the banner of 'Go Make Tomorrow'.

On stand 13.A10, Sony will showcase its fully integrated, end-to-end services and technologies that empower media companies to create more amazing content and more engaged audiences, more profitably.

"We understand the aspirations of media organisations and content creators. We are returning to IBC with firm drive and motivation to help them realise the commercial and creative potential of their content in the post digital age," said Stuart Almond, Head of Marketing, Sony Professional Solutions Europe. "Our theme of 'Go Make Tomorrow' perfectly encapsulates our ambition to support our customers in making their bold and creative visions a reality."

Content Creation & Cinematography
Across the industry, content creators continue to look for ways to engage their specific audiences with incredible content that has more detail, colour and contrast. Together with Sony, customers can create stunning content in 4K, UHD and HDR. At IBC 2018, Sony will showcase its range of solutions across all touch points of the content creation workflow, from capture to archive including its range of camcorders, with updates and new announcements to follow. The 35mm PXW-FS5 II camcorder with its ability to shoot in 4K HDR, 120fps RAW and offer New Colour Science, will be on stand for visitors to discover.

Sony also continues to work closely with cinematographers to offer solutions that allow them to convey the emotion of movie magic in every single frame they shoot. Visitors will be able to see and experiment Sony's next-gen state of the art CineAlta VENICE with the V2.0 Firmware now available.

News & Live production
At IBC 2018, Sony will also be highlighting how it is helping customers increase flexibility and drive efficiencies through its range of cloud-native media production solutions. A particular focus will be on Sony’s cloud-based production system, Media Backbone Hive. The scalable and award-winning solution allows media companies to reach audiences first, delivering content in a range of formats across multiple platforms straight to the viewer.

Visitors will also be able to speak with our experts on stand about the art of delivering live events and our Live Production solutions that have been used in the summer sporting events, as well as our latest IP Live Production Projects, fully open to the latest industry standards.

Sony will also present new services that provide efficiencies and allow to capture and stream live content in a much more flexible and affordable way using Cloud-based platforms.

Sony will be exhibiting in the Elicium Hall, RAI Amsterdam at stand 13.A10.

The Sony press conference is scheduled for 9.30 CET on 14, September 2018 on the booth, and will be streamed live.
