Square Box Systems has unveiled its lineup for BroadcastAsia2016, 31 May – 3 June.

The company will present a range of next-generation products including the CatDV 12, Worker 7 and the Pegasus Server.

The CatDV 12 is a new version of Square Box System's media asset management system. It features an updated user experience along with native support for the company's recent release of Server 7. The system's logging and ingest capabilities have also been updated. It features a 64-bit architecture and a playback engine natively supporting the latest broadcast and camera formats.

Worker 7 is the latest version of the company's workflow automation solution for CatDV MAM deployments. Now supporting Linux environments, Worker 7 makes CatDV a suitable option for large-scale enterprise users who need to manage huge volumes of assets. Worker 7 includes several new functions designed to make workflow automation and integration easier to deploy.

The CatDV Pegasus Server enables fast, Google-style searches across millions of assets and includes support for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases. Its increased security, flexibility, asset usage analytics and reporting, and audit capabilities will be demonstrated at BroadcastAsia2016.

Delivering more power for collaborative enterprise deployments, the CatDV Enterprise Server 7 now features Web-based system administration, a REST administration API, as well as many core improvements including support for larger customer deployments, centralized path mapping, more efficient search tools, and a fully customized user interface for different users.

Lastly, Square Box Systems has launched CatDV Archive to Cloud in response to customer demand for the ability to leverage cloud services in MAM operations. At the show, the company will demonstrate CatDV Archive to Cloud's ability to archive media assets and associated metadata to Amazon's Simple Storage Service (S3), the online file storage Web service offered by Amazon Web Services.
