Lighting's New 'Flexible Friend'

News Image
January 2016 sees the introduction of lighting's new "Flexible Friend", the new FL-600 & FL-1200 flexible LED lights from Korean manufacturer FOMEX.

Unlike existing flexible LED technology FOMEX is the first to offer it in a truly professional package that covers a spectrum of users from Feature Film rentals through Broadcast to Wedding Videographers, Stills Photography and beyond.

Consisting of two lightweight sizes, the FL-600 (30x30cm/280g) and FL-1200 (30x60cm/560g) give unrivalled 360° pliability allowing the light to be formed in to shape for use in the most confined & obscure spaces.

With an impressive IP64 rain & dust proof rating FL Series lights are equally at home in a studio or anywhere on location regardless of weather and environmental conditions, being water resilient they can simply be wiped clean when required.

Tested to CRI96 and TLCI98 the FL series offer more than just Bi Colour, their variable 2900 – 6000K flicker free light output is subtle yet packs a punch for its size.

Professionally presented in a bespoke carry bag, kits include an ergonomic intuitive controller with digital LCD panel that displays colour temperature and a 0-100% dimmer, power options include an integral V-Mount battery plate and supplied AC Adapter.

Also included is a 5m extension cable plus the Fomex X-Mount for when the light is required to operate as a fully rigid panel light.

Available with a choice of mounts both the FL-600 & 1200 can be mounted anywhere, their lightweight construction and simplicity allows for mounting to an optional boom pole accessory for those hard to reach jobs, other accessories include a Softbox and a selection of mount adapters.

Affordably priced and covered by a 2 year warranty Fomex FL lights will be a welcome addition to all lighting stock whether a major lighting rental house, broadcaster, freelancer or stills photographer and especially those looking for a compact lightweight free-form lighting solution.

Fomex products are designed and manufactured to highest technical and quality standards as expected from an advanced Korean manufacturer.

Exclusively distributed in the UK & Ireland by Octica Professional Fomex FL Series lights are available from January 2016 via your regular dealer.
