Lime Pictures Appoint New CEO
The production company behind the 'fly on the wall' series, The Only Way is Essex, have appointed a former BBC Radio 2 controller as their new Chief Executive.
Lesley Douglas who is currently in a senior role at Universal Music UK will join the team at Lime Pictures following a new partnership between the All3Media owned production company and Universal Music UK.
Ms Douglas departed from her role at BBC Radio 2 following the "Sachsgate" scandal in 2008 which concerned a series of voice messages that English entertainers Russell Brand and Jonathan Ross left on the answering machine of actor Andrew Sachs.
Douglas succeeds the Bafta award-winning Producer and Executive Producer Carolyn Reynolds, who has been Chief Executive of Lime Pictures and its forerunner Mersey Television for six years.
Lime Pictures best known credits are perhaps The Only Way is Essex, Jordie Shore, Hollyoaks and tween favourite Grange Hill.
Douglas will take up her new position in the New Year.
