AEQ Appoints Mónica De La Fuente As New Chief Executive Officer

AEQ has named Mónica de la Fuente as its new CEO, signalling the start of a fresh chapter focused on growth, innovation and strengthening the company's presence in both domestic and international markets.

The announcement was made at IBC 2026, where AEQ unveiled additions to its audiovisual portfolio, including a new radio console and a multi-conference systems platform, underscoring its commitment to evolving in step with a rapidly changing industry.

De la Fuente has spent more than a decade at AEQ, most recently heading Marketing and Communications, and maintains deep links across the audiovisual sector, having begun her career in film production. With a personal connection to AEQ’s history, she takes on the role aiming to continue the company's transformation while injecting renewed momentum into its long-term strategy.
