IDX And Dejero Go Mobile At IBC 2011

IDX Technology will be presenting their full line-up of portable ENDURA V-Mount Lithium Ion batteries, chargers and power adaptors, introducing some smart new mounting accessories at IBC 2011.
As the exclusive EMEA distributor for Dejero Labs, IDX will also demonstrate the Dejero LIVE Platform 2.0, the mobile ENG solution that transmits SD or HD video over multiple 3G and 4G wireless cellular networks.
New to IBC 2011 is the A-E2KPm, a custom V-Mount sleeve to house and mount the AJA Ki Pro Mini recorder directly to the rear of V-Mount cameras. By incorporating a P-V plate into the housing, IDX ENDURA batteries can be attached to power both the Ki Pro Mini and camera. The new VL-PVC1 is a lightweight 1-channel travel charger for ENDURA V-Mount batteries that can be easily stored in the side pocket of a camera bag for true field portability.
IDX's flagship power products include the high capacity, dual Power Cartridge ENDURA ELITE (136Wh) and high load ENDURA-HL9 (98Wh) with PowerLink for live docking to double capacity, multi-channel fast chargers, the versatile Shoulder Stabilisation System for handheld camcorders and the CW-5HD wireless HD-video transmission system - the perfect wireless tool for video assist and production monitoring. The reliability of the renowned ENDURA System means that IDX will be supporting IBC TV News with their power equipment for IBC 2011.
As the exclusive EMEA distributor for Dejero Labs, IDX will be demonstrating new updates to the Dejero LIVE Platform, the wireless ENG transmission system that uses multiple 3G and 4G wireless cellular networks to transmit live broadcast quality video. With the Mobile Transmitter taking the form of a portable compact peli-case, the Dejero principle is simple - to allow roaming news crews and broadcasters to set up their equipment and begin transmitting their story back live at a fraction of the time, cost and resource required for other satellite uplink methods.
The latest developments for IBC include the Store and Forward feature that enables news crews to transmit live while simultaneously storing the footage at HD resolution for later transmission back to the studio. Operators can also now choose to transmit in SD or HD using the intuitive control panel on the Transmitter and upload graphics or finished pieces as files to the transmitter from USB for later transfer. Together with a station or studio-based Receiver unit, Dejero's new Video Manager provides an online interface to capture, manage and control incoming video sources and their destination.
IDX will demonstrate Dejero and more on IBC stand: 11.C21.
