Hawk-Woods Launch EX3 Adaptor
Hawk-Woods have just announced a new battery adaptor for Sony's popular PMW-EX3 camera.
Following in the steps of their EX1 version, this multifunctional solution has been specifically designed for use with this camera.
With two NP-F type battery fittings, the DV-EX3 simply connects to the cameras' battery port and provides power via the DC-in socket. Power-Con (D-Tap) and Hirose sockets give the operator the opportunity to power on-board equipment, such as a lamp or radio mic.
These will provide a total power output of 6 Amps/72 Watts and are regulated to 12 volts. An additional mounting bracket feature allows radio mic holders or similar hardware to also be secured to the adaptor.
The DV-EX3 has a list price of £185+VAT and is due to be launched at Broadcast Video Expo. Hawk-Woods can be found displaying their many innovative products on Stand C12.
