CNN/Turner Broadcasting Production Veteran Joins Bitcentral To Lead Customer Support Programs

Bitcentral, a leading provider of news production, archiving and distribution solutions to television stations, has announced that Patrick Dulmage, a 16-year production, technical and management veteran at CNN/Turner Broadcasting, has joined the company as Customer Support Manager.
Dulmage brings an array of talents and a wealth of experience from multiple positions and specialties across Turner Broadcasting and CNN's family of networks. He reports directly to Fred Fourcher, President and CEO of Bitcentral, and will primarily take charge of implementing critical processes and procedures for dramatically enhanced customer support programs. In addition, he will be responsible for the company's internal information technology infrastructure and support system.
Fred Fourcher, President and CEO of Bitcentral, said: "Bitcentral already enjoys a phenomenal record of ensuring smooth and seamless operations at stations converting to Bitcentral digital newsroom, archiving and distribution technologies in every part of the stations' ecosystems.
"Mr Dulmage brings a unique and unmatched perspective in customer support challenges, coming from a world-leading broadcast company in Turner Broadcasting/CNN. His professional knowledge of the technical challenges faced by the most complex broadcast environments will absolutely ensure that our support programs will be second to none in the broadcast industry - well beyond the digital transition periods and into the future."
Dulmage began his career in production at CNN Headline News and then moved to CNN International. Mr Dulmage played a pivotal role in launching the CNN.com global webpage. Afterwards he continued with crucial leadership positions within the technical infrastructure of the Turner Broadcasting group - most recently supervising the technical call centre and help desk for CNN, CNN Headline News, CNN International and all other associated networks.
Dulmage added: "Bitcentral has been known as a leader in digital newsroom solutions and coming from a similar leadership position at CNN, I plan to inject a unique perspective and understanding of the industry from within the world's premier broadcast company.
"Coming from a production background, I certainly understand the time constraints of a customer. I know what an on-air issue actually means to someone living in the production world. I bring that knowledge with me, as well as an executive perspective from my educational background in business."
A 1996 Georgia State University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism, Dulmage also received a Masters of Business Administration from the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State.
