S&M expand 3D animation team
Digital visual effects studio Smoke & Mirrors (S&M) have boosted their 3D animation team with the appointment of Rebekah King-Britton, a 3D animator with experience in major design-led CGI projects for broadcast, commercials and film.
King-Britton has joined S&M to jointly head up the company’s revamped 3D department alongside Phil Johnson, and is expected to attract a wider range of 3D work, especially design-led broadcast projects.
King-Britton joined the post-production industry ten years ago, after training in Industrial Design and IT & Design Management. She worked as a 3D animator at Electric Image, on a variety of projects including the feature film 'Space Truckers', before moving to specialist 3D independent Drum (recently merged into Bruce Dunlop Associates) where she worked for six years on broad range of projects.
Recent projects completed by S&M 3D include the Audi TT 'Influence' and Zurich flying pigs commercials, plus music videos for The Chemical Brothers and The Shining.
