Telegraph Media Group To Co-Fund Landmark History Series

The Telegraph Media Group has signed an agreement with the History Channel to jointly fund ’50 Things Every Citizen Should Know About’ (working title).
The five-part series will be presented by TV historian and author Dan Snow and will air next year.
Geoff Metzger, Managing Director of the History Channel UK said: "Our two brands share a similar audience and the partnership will enable us to engage the nation in a lively debate about the most important moments in British history."
The series will feature what are considered to be the most significant events in British history.
Independent producer Flashback Television has been commissioned to make the series. The executive producer will be Taylor Downing.
