Twofour Beats Off Competition With 'Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year' Business Awards

Twofour has been awarded two prestigious business awards in the space of one week.
Group Chief Executive, Charles Wace, has won the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year Award for Technology & Communication South Region (25 June 2007) and the company has also won the 2007 West of England Business of the Year Award.
Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year competition aims to recognize and encourage entrepreneurship around the world, and build a forum for the exchange of ideas not just between entrepreneurs of one country, but also internationally.
"I was really shocked to win this award" said Wace. "I see it very much as a team effort and a tribute to everyone at Twofour and all the hard work which has gone into making the Group such a success." Charles will now go forward to the UK National Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year 2007 awards programme held later this year in London.
Commenting on this year's Entrepreneur Of The Year regional award winners, Derek Harris, the chairman of the independent judging panel and chief executive of Aston Science Park said: "This year's winners displayed true entrepreneurial spirit and through hard work, innovation and determination, have built incredibly successful businesses. Charles' incredible capacity for perceiving changes in the media market, and his clear strategic direction, has taken the company strength to strength."
Anthony Hughes, Twofour's Financial Director accepted the award at an impressive Presentation Dinner held last night (27 June 2007) at the Bristol Mariott City Centre Hotel.
"I am extremly proud to accept this West of England Business of the Year Award on behalf of Twofour," said Hughes. "It is thanks to all the hard work put in by everyone at Twofour that has made winning it possible. I am delighted that the judges were impressed by the company. Twofour is growing at a tremendous rate and we have great hopes for the future."
