dB Broadcast build Teletrax video monitoring systems

Cambridgeshire-based systems integrator dB Broadcast have designed, built and tested eleven new Teletrax systems that track video content whenever and wherever it is broadcast.
Incorporating Philips WaterCast advanced digital rights management technology, the Teletrax service digitally embeds an invisible and indelible code into video content which, when broadcast, is automatically tracked through a worldwide network of detectors which have been prefabricated and tested by dB Broadcast. Details of the detected material are then transferred to a central database via Internet or modem link.
Teletrax's service is unaffected by standards conversions, such as PAL and NTSC, in both analogue and digital formats. The only way to destroy the Teletrax coding is to destroy the material itself.
Andy Nobbs, managing director of Teletrax, said: "Following more than four years of research and development, Teletrax is the only practical electronic tracking service capable of tracking across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and South America, in addition to North America."
