LiveU Partners With Kinetiq

LiveU has teamed up with Kinetiq, the AI-powered platform unifying global media intelligence into actionable insights and the company behind the Teletrax watermarking technology.

With this partnership, Kinetiq is bringing Teletrax watermarking into LiveU Matrix, LiveU's cloud-native IP video distribution platform, so broadcasters can add secure, persistent watermarks to live streams without additional hardware.

Reliable and cost-effective, the LiveU Matrix distribution platform lets users exchange live video feeds directly in the cloud with high-quality and low-latency, accessible from any browser. Broadcasters, sports organisations, and public safety agencies use LiveU Matrix to distribute content at scale, without costly dedicated infrastructure. Through its reach – over 5,000 customers across 150 countries – LiveU Matrix delivers up to 70% cost savings compared to traditional satellite or fiber-based distribution. This integration further demonstrates the LiveU EcoSystem's openness and seamless interoperability with other solutions.

Teletrax watermarking from Kinetiq adds another layer of intelligence and protection to the live video feeds. This persistent, imperceptible technology embeds identifying data into video content, enabling precise tracking of where and how content is broadcast or streamed. For nearly 25 years, Teletrax has equipped news, sports, government, and entertainment organizations with scalable watermarking to validate rights usage, protect proprietary content and understand reach across more than 6,000 broadcast and digital platforms worldwide.
With the new integration, clients can insert Teletrax watermarks at the point of capture within the cloud, eliminating the need for costly, on-premise hardware. This cloud-based approach lowers costs, accelerates latency, and makes it easier than ever to track and secure live content globally.

"The combination of LiveU Matrix and Kinetiq's Teletrax watermarking allows our clients to scale live distribution while safeguarding their valuable content," said Christian Diehl, Senior Director of Product Management at LiveU. "This integration gives customers a flexible, cost-effective alternative to legacy infrastructure, pairing LiveU's premium-grade transmission with trusted watermarking technology, all in the cloud."

"We're excited to support LiveU in their championing of cloud-based solutions," said Kevin Kohn, CEO at Kinetiq. "Teletrax has continuously evolved with industry needs over the last 25 years, and this integration is a clear example of that. Together, we're giving broadcasters and content owners a smarter, more agile way to protect and monetise live content in the cloud era."

The integration is available for customers who partner with both LiveU and Teletrax.
