SMPTE SPONSORS TUTORIAL AT IBC2000

SMPTE is to sponsor a Pre-Show Tutorial explaining relevant internet technology, business practice and opportunities at the IBC2000.
Charles Jablonski, President of SMPTE and VP Network Operations of Geocast Networks, will chair the afternoon session. Business models, intellectual property and the issues of re-using content from other media will be discussed, followed by a panel discussion at which the presenters will discuss their current experience, as well as some of the new services that may evolve.
IBC takes place September 8 to 12, 2000.
