Autodesk Media & Entertainment strengthens its workforce

Following Autodesk’s acquisition of Alias earlier this year, Autodesk Media & Entertainment division has restructured its management and sales teams in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The EMEA team has gained several new people and is now led by a six-strong management team.
Three new managers have been appointed to the EMEA management team reporting to Patrick Jocelyn, director, EMEA.
Robin Adams, former territory sales manager for the UK & Ireland, has been appointed systems sales manager, EMEA, overseeing a team of five territory sales managers.
Ben Dair, former business development manager for Toxik, is now application engineer & workflow manager for software, managing a team of seven software application engineers, including three who have joined from Alias.
Alex Micallef, former software channel manager, has been appointed manager of the newly created channel & sales execution team. He will manage a team of six – four of whom have come from Alias – responsible for channel, license compliance, education, inside sales, contract renewal and sales support.
They join three existing managers to form the EMEA management team for Autodesk’s Media & Entertainment division: Mark Powell, software sales manager, EMEA, who manages a team of seven territory sales managers including two who have joined from Alias; Steve MacPherson, application engineer & workflow manager for systems, who manages a team of five systems application engineers; and Barbara Marshall, marketing manager, EMEA, who manages a team of four marketing staff, including Pam Bhandal who has joined from Alias.
“The integration of Alias has provided a prime opportunity to create a strong management team to take the EMEA business forward over the coming years,” says Patrick Jocelyn. “The acquisition has brought a wealth of new talent to our team and we’re very excited to have them on board. This strong team and structure will enable us to build on our successes, drive business across all our products, and ultimately, increase customer satisfaction.”
