Telecommunications leader joins broadcasting association

The Association for International Broadcasting, the trade body for the cross-border broadcasting industry, is pleased to announce that British Telecommunications plc (BT) has joined the organisation.
One of the major providers of services to the international broadcasting industry, BT offers traditional services such as satellite capacity and worldwide connectivity in addition to a new portfolio of interactive Participation Media services.
BT joins the AIB at a time when its membership base is growing rapidly. Current members include broadcasters, transmission providers, consulting firms and manufacturers across Europe, North America, Africa and the Asia-Pacific regions.
The association is the only trade body that specifically focuses on the growing and increasingly influential cross-border broadcasting industry and is strongly placed to provide a range of services that ensure that the interests of all parties involved in international or cross-border broadcasting are met.
