Croatian Broadcaster Chooses Chyron For Newsroom Integration

Chyron Corporation has revealed that it has been selected by Croatia’s national broadcaster, HRT, to provide an LEX graphics system as part of a newsroom upgrade project. The installation was carried out by Chyron’s Croatian partner, CS Computer Systems, based in Zagreb.
HRT will begin using the LEX for cutting-edge lower third graphics on its popular daily news shows and will expand to use the system's full capabilities in the coming months. Mr Filip Starcevic, Head of HRT’s digital production support department, commented: “We chose the LEX because of its newsroom integration functionality with Avid iNews and Control Air and also because of its versatility, 3D capabilities, ease of operation, and of course the price. The system will enhance the look and feel of our news shows whilst simplifying the workflow for our operators.”
He added: “The Chyron system perfectly matched our requirements and we experienced first class support from Chyron for the newsroom integration and later support with Chyron’s local partner CS Computer Systems.”
