Gee Broadcast joins Morpheus Partner Programme

Pro-Bel, the premier manufacturer and supplier of routing switchers, signal processing, master control, automation and workflow technologies, has announced that Gee Broadcast Systems, manufacturers of the Geevs server range, has joined the Morpheus Partner Programme.
The Geevs server range provides multi-format video servers for playout, news, production and sport, with this announcement concentrating on the Geevs SD, Geevs MR and MR+ products. The Morpheus Partner Programme unites Pro-Bel and like-minded companies in providing customers of Pro-Bel’s groundbreaking automation system with tightly integrated third party solutions.
Costa Nikols, Head of Product Management, explained: “Of course, Geevs servers interface with all the industry-standard control interfaces that Pro-Bel uses. However, in addition we can supply a higher level of control of the Geevs servers via Morpheus with the development of a new API. The better the integration and workflow, the more reliable the overall solution and the easier it is for the customer. This is a huge benefit, particularly when projects involve large scale cooperation between teams.”
Morpheus represents an evolution of the Pro-Bel automation philosophy, providing a scalable, cost-effective automation solution using ‘best of breed’ technologies and a design that supports fault resilience at every level. The Morpheus architecture supports non-linear playout of not only conventional material, but a wide range of multimedia and data-based content.
