root6 appointed reseller for Avid Symphony Nitris
Avid has appointed Soho-based root6 as re-sellers for its new Avid Symphony Nitris HD finishing tool, showcased at NAB earlier this year.
Avid Symphony Nitris combines the popular Symphony toolset with real-time primary and secondary colour correction, and the real-time uncompressed HD and SD performance of Avid Nitris DNA hardware.
Commenting on the appointment Sean Bradley, Avid Manager UK Post said: "root6 has a clear and comprehensive understanding of HD technology and we look forward very much to working with them and delivering this powerful and productive solution."
“Symphony Nitris is going to prove popular with many of our clients,” affirmed John Harris of root6. “This product fully complements our range of HD solutions from Sony, FilmLight, DVS and Tektronix.”
