Global Security Systems to launch GSSNet at NAB

Global Security Systems is to launch GSSNet at NAB 2005 in Las Vegas (Booth N427).
The GSSNet system is a Homeland Security & Natural Disaster First Alert System which provides secure transmission of critical messages to single or multiple destinations with dynamic over-the-air addressability and layered by 'need to know' groupings.
The receivers or appliances include cell phones, pagers, PDAs, fixed/mobile operated radios, and the new digital/satellite radios. The technology used includes FM broadcasting networks coupled with the proven RDS, DARC, or IBOC data infrastructure.
The broadcast technology is ideally suited with the seamless footprint of existing global high-power FM transmitters for wide-area coverage and superior signal penetration. GSSNet provides software plug-ins for appliances using FM receiver integrated devices and operating software for radio automation systems.
"The inadequacies of the existing emergency broadcast system in the United States have become painfully obvious. The existing system is antiquated and has been neglected," said Robert L. Adams, president of Global Security
Systems. "On a federal, state, and county level, a new homeland emergency broadcast strategy was required to deal with not only an enemy whose sole purpose is to disrupt and destroy the lives of innocent civilians but to provide early warning for catastrophic events such as hurricanes, tornadoes, hazardous spills, and in other regions, tsunamis."
Global Security Systems has over 15 years of proven experience and expertise in the design, integration, and operation of FM broadcast data systems specifically for point to multipoint messaging.
