AVANTI SEARCH FOR 56 YOUNG WELSH SPEAKERS

PRODUCTION company Avanti are looking for 56 young, wild, Welsh speakers aged between 18 and 30 to take part in the second series of S4C’s La Bamba in Mallorca in June.
If you want a chance to go on the two-week trip, which includes a free return flight and hotel accommodation for two weeks, you must be willing to take part in all kinds of games on the beach and off it.
La Bamba presenter, Alex Jones, said: "The show’s a cross between a dating show and ‘It’s a Knockout’. This time around, the games on the beach and around the swimming pool are even more colourful and wacky than before. The dates being offered to all the winners are more exotic too, with a night at Richard Branson’s Majorca hotel and a meal at Michael Douglas’ restaurant among the prizes on offer.”
The series, to be shown on S4C in late summer, will follow the contestants playing games and follow the winning couples from each round, everywhere on their date. At the end of the series, the eight winning pairs meet up again and are given the chance to visit an even more exotic location. (CD)
