Apple TV+ To Launch Multi-Part Documentary Series On Andre Agassi

Apple TV has announced that it will be home to a new multi-part documentary series chronicling the extraordinary life and career of tennis legend Andre Agassi, sixteen years after the publication of his acclaimed memoir, 'Open: An Autobiography', widely regarded as one of the greatest sports books in American literature.

The series will explore the thrilling, complex and deeply personal story of Agassi, tracing his rise from prodigy to global sporting icon and cultural figure. It will be directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Chris Smith and produced by Smith’s Library Films, with Stacy Smith and Justin Gimelstob serving as executive producers.

The announcement further strengthens Apple TV's growing slate of premium original content, which spans drama and comedy series, feature films, documentaries, and children's and family programming. Available across a wide range of devices, Apple TV launched on 1 November 2019 as the first all-original streaming service to debut globally.
