Lightware Releases Setup Guide For 100-Endpoint TPN/OPTN Systems
Lightware has published a comprehensive Installation and Network Setup Guide to help teams design, configure and commission large-scale 10G AV-over-IP deployments with confidence.
Building on the launch of the TPN-MMU-X100 Matrix Management Unit, which scales the SDVoE-based TPN platform to 100 TX/RX endpoints, the guide sets out the network foundations required for enterprise-grade virtual matrix switching across Taurus TPN, HDMI-TPN and HDMI-OPTN devices.
The guide covers 10G AV network architecture, transmission modes and bandwidth requirements; CATx cable diagnostics for TPN endpoints, including recommended cable types, termination rules and link testing; step-by-step configuration for Netgear M4350 switches with IGMP Plus™, AV UI navigation and manual port settings (IGMP snooping, querier, fast leave); and core–access designs for Netgear environments, detailing multi-switch topologies, 100G uplinks/LAG trunking and multicast management across Core (M4500) and Access (M4350) switches.
