Court TV Selects Yospace
Court TV has selected Yospace to manage advertising across its ad-supported streaming television service, following the channel’s acquisition by Law&Crime in February 2026.
The deployment uses Yospace's server-side ad insertion (SSAI) technology to deliver programmatic, one-to-one addressable advertising, enabling Court TV to monetise its streaming inventory across supported platforms.
Law&Crime and Court TV provide legal and true-crime programming across multiple platforms, including live courtroom proceedings, legal analysis, investigative reporting, documentaries and original content. Court TV’s streaming service is available on devices including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV and Android TV.
Yospace's dynamic ad insertion (DAI) solution was implemented in five weeks to meet Court TV’s deployment schedule. The technology was integrated with the channel’s existing infrastructure, allowing advertising inventory to be monetised from launch.
The system can also insert advertising when viewers begin watching a stream, including when they join during an existing ad break. This enables Court TV to generate revenue from viewers who might otherwise miss the opportunity to receive an advertisement at the start of playback.
The capability is particularly relevant in the US market, where advertising can account for up to 20 minutes of each viewing hour, according to Yospace. By addressing viewers joining at different points in a stream, the technology is designed to help maximise monetisation opportunities across the audience.
The deployment also incorporates Yospace’s dynamic prefetch technology, which gives ad decisioning services additional time to respond to requests and fill available advertising slots. The approach is intended to improve ad delivery and maximise the value of individual placements.
Real-time observability dashboards provide Court TV with detailed visibility into advertising operations throughout the delivery lifecycle. These insights allow the broadcaster to monitor performance, adjust its advertising workflows and refine the viewer experience.
The deployment gives Court TV an integrated approach to streaming advertising as it continues operating under Law&Crime ownership, combining addressable ad delivery with monitoring tools designed to support revenue optimisation across its digital distribution platforms.
