MultiDyne To Showcase Expanded Technology Portfolio At CABSAT 2026

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will showcase an expanded technology portfolio at CABSAT 2026, bringing together its established fiber transport, camera connectivity and IP solutions with camera robotics and motion control technologies from MRMC.

The broader offering follows MultiDyne’s acquisition of the assets of Mark Roberts Motion Control (MRMC) in June 2026. The move expands MultiDyne’s capabilities across the production chain while allowing customers to add new technologies alongside existing infrastructure and workflows.

CABSAT 2026 will take place from October 5-7 at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Dubai, UAE.

MRMC develops robotic camera systems, motion control and automated tracking technologies for broadcast, film, sports and live production. Following the acquisition, MultiDyne established MultiDyne Robotics and Motion Control Limited, which continues to operate under the MRMC brand.

The two technology portfolios address complementary areas of production. MRMC systems provide camera movement, positioning and automation, while MultiDyne technologies transport and manage the video, audio, communications and data generated by production systems.

At CABSAT, MultiDyne will demonstrate its SilverBack-IP fiber camera adapter, which provides native SMPTE ST 2110 connectivity for digital cinema camera workflows. The solution enables cinema cameras to be integrated directly into IP-based production environments while maintaining the mobility and camera flexibility associated with the SilverBack platform.

The SilverBack-IP extends MultiDyne’s Emmy Award-winning SilverBack product family into hybrid SDI/IP production environments, providing a route for production teams to incorporate cinema cameras into increasingly IP-centric facilities.

MultiDyne will also present the VF-9100, the latest generation of its VersaFrame fiber transport platform. Designed for hybrid SDI/IP facilities, the system features a redesigned architecture, increased processing capacity, expanded modularity and native RESTful API support.

The API capabilities enable monitoring, configuration and diagnostics to be integrated with network management and facility control systems. The platform is designed to provide a bridge between established baseband infrastructure and IP-based production workflows.

Another product on display will be the MDoG-8800, an eight-channel 12G fiber transport module for the openGear ecosystem. Designed for high-density 4K and 8K production environments, the module combines flexible internal routing with options for fiber-per-signal or integrated CWDM configurations.

The expanded portfolio comes as broadcasters, sports organizations, production companies and entertainment venues across the Middle East continue to invest in production infrastructure. Increasing demand for automation, IP-based workflows and higher-capacity fiber connectivity is driving the development of new facilities, while many organizations also seek to extend existing systems rather than replace established infrastructure.

By combining robotics, motion control, camera connectivity, fiber transport and IP technologies, MultiDyne is positioning the expanded portfolio to support a range of production environments and infrastructure strategies, from incremental upgrades to more comprehensive technology transitions.
