AEQ Showcases Xplorer MAX At IBC 2026

AEQ will present its Xplorer MAX wireless intercom beltpack at IBC in Amsterdam from 11–14 September, located in Hall 8 on stand 8C55.

Designed for professional workflows, the unit aims to deliver clear, dependable team communications across a wide range of applications.

Operating in the 5 GHz band with digital OFDM radio technology, Xplorer MAX is engineered for stable links in congested or complex environments. It offers up to 400 mW of transmission power and a range of up to 600 metres in open spaces, helping ensure messages are conveyed without dropouts.

The system’s flexibility is a core feature. It is compatible with AEQ Crossnet, Conexia and TH5000 matrices, allowing straightforward integration with wired panels and commentator units. It can also function independently in Xpeak and Party-Line systems, adapting to diverse production setups.

An intuitive control layout supports fast operation: four direct-access keys organised across up to four pages, two additional programmable keys and a multifunction display enable users to manage connections quickly and efficiently.

Built for demanding use, Xplorer MAX carries an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, and operates from -30 °C to +55 °C. This robustness makes it suitable for everything from studio environments to challenging outdoor locations.

With its blend of audio quality, reliability and ease of use, the beltpack is intended to streamline coordination and boost efficiency across production teams.

AEQ's team will be available throughout IBC 2026 in Hall 8, stand 8C55, offering demonstrations and consultations for visitors interested in enhancing communication workflows with Xplorer MAX.
